In 2005, Brigitte started doing research for the development of her own groundbreaking, affordable and unique natural skin care line, Brown Olive Natural Skin Care. The determined entrepreneur made hundreds of phone calls all over the country consulting with other beauty entrepreneurs. A quick study, Ms. Brown learned a lot of what she needed to know in order to create her own line. In her research, she discovered that “majority of manufacturers were using dead sea salt.” And so, in true Brown fashion, Brigitte chose to make her natural bath and body line with olive oil as the foundation and the more exotic Himalayan Crystal Salt as the mineral element. The entrepreneur says, “Although Himalayan Crystal Salt is rarer and more expensive, because I can control the quantities and do the distribution myself, I am able to create a superior product and my customers can get the best for less.”
